Sad to see this extension isn’t being supported anymore. If you’re looking for a replacement, you can try VertiTab, the vertical tab extension I’ve been working on! It stands out with features like cloud sync, advanced tab grouping, and automated session backup to protect your workflow.

Literally just doesn't work. You install it, it opens once and then won't open again.

After trying every single vertical tab extension on my Brave browser, I found this one to be the best for me. Here’s why: Pros: 1. Convenient tab list access: - Opens tab list by clicking the pinned extension icon or using a keyboard shortcut - Doesn't use the integrated browser sidebar or a separate window - Bonus: Auto-opens on mouse hover at screen edge and auto-closes (very cool!) 2. Efficient tab management: - Displays as many tabs as possible in a compact view - Includes a dark theme - Minimalist design without unnecessary features, icons, or colors 3. Functional features: - Mute audio in any playing tab - Close any tab This extension is the only one that meets all these criteria, and I'm very happy with it. However, there are a few issues I've encountered. While not major, they were initially confusing and slightly taint the experience. Cons: 1. Inconsistent tab list display: Tab list doesn't show on: - "New tab" page - "Settings" page - Chrome Web Store page - Suspended pages - Potentially other untested pages ('List All Tabs' extension can do this, so perhaps a fallback solution is possible?) 2. Confusing "eye" icon behavior. The little eyes on the pinned icon are meant to indicate an open tab list, but: - They indicate the extension *thinks* the list is open, even when it isn't - Switching tabs requires double-clicking the icon: once to "close" and once to open - Eyes only appear when using the icon or keyboard shortcut - Mouse hover opens/closes the list regardless of eye icon status (which is good due to bug mentioned above) Minor Issues: - Unable to close tabs in the list with middle-click - No option to remove search bar - No option to list tabs from all windows - Font size is slightly too large - Occasional slowness on browser launch Despite these minor issues, this extension is still the best option for vertical tab management on Brave. If they can be resolved, it will be perfect.

Worked after installiing and then not again - just opening and closing it's eyes.

Lol, too much permissions for the function.

Doesn't work with tab groups

Andrey Beylin

Doesn't work. Ctrl-E does nothing, not possible to change it, no description or anything. Don't install it.

Naseef Baramy

Doesnt work. Wasted.

Seemed to be exactly what I needed, noted it was old. Was a little buggy at the start, worked fine at first, then I minimized it and it seemed to disappear forever. I had to fiddle with the settings, change the hotkey to something else, then back to ctrl-E and it started working perfectly again. But the dealbreaker is it screws with functionality of some pop up windows and field submissions. Since I need those for my job, this extension has to go. Sigh, why google's incapable of adding vertical tabs to their own browser I'll never understand.

Doesn't work. works once then disappears. hotkey doesn't work. and when i click the icon and get the eyes. it still doesn't work. how are you support to display the vertical tabs anyways

Chrissy

Just doesn't work. And no easy way to find support or recommended fixes.

Love it. Works a lot like the firefox one. Only thing I would love to see is nesting for tabs that were created from a parent tab. i.e., if i was to open a hyperlink from one tab, the new tab would be slightly indented to show it is grouped under the parent.

St. Vincent de Paul

It doesn't work.

My Love

Please fix dark theme bug, i must setting each tab for dark theme to work.

Didn't do what I expected. I guess its good for productivity with the extra detail visible per side tab but... The original chrome tabs still remain on the top, so there is no gain in vertical workspace as was suggested in an external review I saw. Given that so many screens are now wide, yet websites insist on drop down menus that fall off the bottom of the screen, I had expected that vertical tabs would remove the top tabs & give greater depth but... No.
